Microwave Safe Bowl
Spoon (small/tablespoon)
Tongs (Maybe)
Pan (for chilling)
Ingredients Required:
Dried Pitted Dates (10 oz can)
Semi-sweet, Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolate Chips (~10-11 oz size bag)
Creamy Peanut Butter (16oz jar)
Flaky or Granular Salt
Coconut Flakes (Optional)
How to Make it:
Begin melting chocolate chips in microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals stirring in between until melted.
While chocolate is mleting, open a pitted date and pack in a small teaspoon of peanut butter. Repeat until all number of desired dates have been stuffed with peanut butter.
Option 1: Dip the stuffed dates in the melted chocolate and set them in pan to chill.
Option 2: Spread a layer of melted chocolate in the chilling pan. Place the stuffed dates on top and then cover them in melted chocolate.
Sprinkle covered dates with either small amounts of flaky salt or coconut flakes as desired.
Set pan in fridge until chocolate cools and hardens.
Serve and eat.
